Dear Readers,

We just wanted to use this last group post to tell you how grateful we are that you took time each week to check in on what has been happening with us at Double R Productions. We’ve all had a great time and learned a ton of stuff along the way. However, just because we, the fall 2009 intern team, are heading out does not mean that this blog is coming to an end. Quite the contrary actually, the Double R intern blog is just getting started. So stay tuned, and in just a few short weeks you’ll get to meet a whole new set of interns who will face new challenges and unique experiences at Double R Productions. Now, sadly, it is time for each of us to bid you a fond farewell:

Alan– Well, I’ve had a blast getting to know the other interns and the whole crew here at Double R. I’m gonna miss DC, but I am super excited to be headed home to family, friends, and my fiancé. Thanks again for coming along for the ride. Merry Christmas!

Andrew– Alright, week 15 already. During my initial days in D.C. I looked at this last week as so distant, and now that it’s here it seems as though it crept up on me. I acknowledge some of the difficulties on the way, but also see the positives things as outweighing them. All together this has been greatly influential in helping me carve out a clearer picture of my career path, and I am grateful for that. Back to MA…

Lynnette– It’s crazy to think that the semester is coming to an end; this experience has been priceless. Interning in Washington DC with Double R has taught me so much and I will take away memories, experiences and most of all friendships. Thank you to the staff for taking me under your wing and teaching me how to work in a professional environment. Thank you to Alan and Andrew for providing many, many laughs when the days seemed endless. You both are amazing people that made this experience memorable.
