After all the crazy weather warnings last week, this week’s weather is seeming a lot calmer. However, that is not the case at the Double R office. For us interns, it’s safe to say our week did not get off to the best start.
We presented our elevator speeches and in-the-camera videos to the team, and they were far from impressed. Our work did not reach our full potential and so we were asked to repeat these tasks. As a team, we took this as a learning experience and an opportunity to show Double R what we are really made of.
For our in-the-camera, we made sure to equally plan everything out as a team. We also made sure to practice, as we only had one time to shoot everything in one take. With regards to our elevator speeches, we listened to the feedback from the Double R team, (mine was to not move my head so vigorously as it made me look like a nervous little girl). We also made improvements such as lighting.
From day one we were given a very important saying, Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Production. It’s safe to say we experienced each and every word of the 7 Ps when receiving feedback for our assignments. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to support us. The Double R team continues to give us encouragement, assuring us that we were selected as their interns for a reason, because we show potential and can contribute to the best brand in the business.
