Hello, I’m Meg Rolfsen and for three weeks, I will be interning at Double R Productionswith my classmate Caroline Harwell. We live in Nashville, TN and attend Harpeth Hall School. As high school students, we are excited to see aspects of the business world, especially in film production.
Our first day of work was on Wednesday. We were very eager to meet everyone and see how the office worked. We were welcomed with the kindest employees and we felt right at home. Following our arrival, we went to an Arts Action meeting with Rosemary Reed and Inhye Park. This meeting was made up of theater, fashion, television, humanities, and arts advocates who come together to try and influence the government and DC culture. The meeting wasn’t what we expected, but it was beneficial to understand how various artists work together to or not to accomplish a goal. We were glad to be there!
Following the meeting, Rosemary showed us our intern schedule. We will have the wonderful opportunity to create a video. We are super excited to brainstorm ideas for a Martin Luther King Jr. tribute video.
We are thrilled to work at Double R Productionswith the amazing staff. Our time here will help us grow and understand the ways in which a small business works.
