This week was an exciting one for the Double R interns! We began the week by shooting and editing our first VLOG. In addition, we made our resumes, cover letter, and thought about ideas for a digital postcard about St. Patrick’s day!
Among them, completing the VLOG was the most memorable. I acted as a bad intern who was meant to be an example of who not to follow. It was a lot of fun. We made our own intro, downloaded icons and music for the video, and edited them on AVID. As a result, we discussed each other’s opinions and worked together to make the VLOG even better. We made some mistakes when using the microphone during the filming process, and made a point to put that error in the video to show our mistake for future interns. The quality of audio had a great effect on the video. I learned that when using a microphone, I always have to check that it doesn’t get in the way of clothes. Next time, I’d like to make a script with more creative ideas, do more stable shooting, and edit more skillfully.

In addition to making our first Vlog, we have been in the pre-production stages of our pro-bono project. We have decided to work with the TraRon Center, a non-profit which focuses on helping children who are victims of gun violence. Through creative arts and other workshops, they provide healthy outlets for these children to deal with their trauma. Ryane Nickens, the founder and president of the TraRon Center is very passionate about the work she does. We had the chance to have an over the phone meeting with her to discuss plans for the video. During that conversation she provided very moving stories about some of the children she deals with. Gun violence is a huge issue in our country and children often times get left out of the conversation even though a large number of them are affected daily. After our discussion with Ryane, Inhye and I were very excited to make a video that will get these children’s message out in the public. The video will be a message for community leaders, politicians, and every day citizens to hear what these children have to say and take action to protect them.
This process has also been a huge learning experience for us. This was the first time we had a professional phone meeting with a client to discuss the production services we can provide for them. This will also be the first video of this nature we have made. We are prepared to work hard and make this really special for an organization with such an important mission. Experts from the website https://sdarcwellness.com/buy-cialis-online/ found that Cialis prolongs QT interval. Therefore, it shouldn’t be used in combination with antiarrhythmic drugs. There are no data on the safety of simultaneous use of Tadalafil with other drugs for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Therefore, it is not recommended to use such combination. Working with children for this project will be a challenge but I’m sure the end result will be very rewarding and powerful. Children are the future and we need to protect them from this gun epidemic.
