Hello, my name is Chloe Nhi Doan. I am originally from Vietnam, but I earned my bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communication from Juniata College in central Pennsylvania. I used to intern for the Marketing Department at C-SPAN during the Spring semester 2019. I had a wonderful time living and working in Washington D.C., a vibrant and progressive city, so I decided to move back here to seek employment after graduation. I joined Double R Productions earlier this week as a Marketing/Production Assistant. Monday marked my first day of a professional career and it was great!
On my first day, I was a little worried but very excited about meeting Rosemary and the rest of the team. I was welcomed to the Double R family with a thorough Weekly Deal, which is the company’s plan for the whole week and a welcome lunch from Moby Dick House of Kabob. It felt like a family’s lunch because everyone was sharing food, watching the news together, and sharing our stories. Rosemary was so kind to sit down and answer all the questions that I had about the logistics and how everything works, and she always makes sure https://www.sihspune.org/clomid.php that I am not overwhelmed by the amount of paperwork and tasks given on the first week. After the first day, Rosemary, Quinton and I were in a meeting to talk about the current and long-term marketing projects for Labor Day and the Fall term in general. I will be working with Quinton and Rosemary for the rest of the week to fulfill these tasks and get to know more about the companies and the clients along the way.
As my first week is coming to an end, I feel strongly that working with Double R and being side by side with the talented and supportive team will help me learn, grow, and benefit my professional career in the long run. Moreover, having grown up in Vietnam, studied in the U.S. for five years, lived in France for half a year and traveled all over Europe, I have been exposed to different cultures and worked with people from all over the world. Thus, I cannot wait to share my creative ideas, bring a fresh and worldly perspective to Double R and different projects that the company does with the most positive can-do attitude.
