Hello! My name is Seulah Jang and I’m a new intern at Double R Productions for the Spring 2020 semester. I’m from a very beautiful place in South Korea – Gwangju. I’m studying Communications at Jeonnam National University.
I got this internship opportunity through The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars. Before arriving here in Washington D.C. and Double R Productions, I was so excited because everything will be a whole new experience and environment. I have always wanted to learn about content creation, but I was more nervous than excited because of that same reason. I was a little surprised when I found out that I am the only new intern for this spring semester, which made me even more anxious. But, after I met everybody at Double R and received some brief instructions on what I will be doing here, I was relieved because everyone was so welcoming and nice to me! I am looking forward to being a part of this team in the next couple of months.
On the first day, I went on a scavenger hunt with Chloe. I visited various places around the neighborhood of the Dupont Circle area and took interesting photos at different places. You can see them on our Instagram and Twitter accounts! It was a great experience on my first day, because not only was I able to familiarize myself around Dupont Circle but I am also even more excited about all the things that I will experience here.
Doing an internship at Double R Productions is a big opportunity for me. I’m sure I will learn a lot of about productions and gradually build my dream to be a content creator in the future. I’ll do my best to grow myself and contribute to our team.
