Did I ever tell you that I love my internship? The travel I get to do is beyond exciting. On Tuesday, I went on a shoot with Catherine and Flannery to capture a message by Ambassador Boyden Gray for a conference in Moscow. To me that is mind blowing. I also learned from our videographer, Gino, some tricks about lighting. He is also a fun guy to be around. After we wrapped the shoot, our contact, Bethany Davis, took us on the roof of the building and the view was magnificent. I was able to see a full view of the White House. The scenery was breathtaking- I almost asked to move in!
On Wednesday, I went to two different locations. The first was at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau where I learned not to panic under pressure. I met another videographer Thom: He is a nice guy as well. He taught me about different cameras for videos and photos. In the afternoon, I assisted Thom with another shoot where Senator Lindsay Graham was speaking. It’s not everyday you get to meet a Senator or Ambassador but I was able to do both in the same week. If that is not awesome, I don’t know what is. Remember how I said I love my internship? Well now you can see why.
