Spring is in the Air
Our fingers are crossed that winter is not coming to DC anymore. The snow is melting and spring is budding to make its sweet arrival. DC is beautiful this time of the year. The cherry blossoms are a treasure in our nation’s capital. Double R Productions staff is slowly peeling away the wintry layers for a warm spring.
Edit to Perfection
All this week, Hyoji, Delvakio and I are diligently working on a promotional mayoral video for Democrat Vice Mayor of Alexandria, Allison Silberberg. This is the first Double R project that we are doing from start to finish, without any Double R staff assistance. From transcribing to editing, we are doing it all. The Double R intern team is literally getting their hands wet in a little bit of everything.
The “Black Suits Coming”
While Hyoji and Delvakio were working on Silberberg’s video, I slipped away to write the script for our second vlog. I am excited about this vlog because it’s inspired by the movie ‘Men in Black.’ The movie is based off a Marvel Comic and in case you did not know, Marvel is pretty hot right now. We begin filming next week. This vlog will star two special guests from the Double R staff. Stay tuned to discover who will be in the vlog and what they will do.
Break It Down Now
After finishing the script, the Double R Intern Team immediately started rehearsing our lines for the script. In the last vlog, I said most of the lines because I was recruiting the intern. Well, spoiler alert, now it’s Hyoji’s turn. Delvakio and I are working to help Hyoji to enunciate her words since English is Hyoji’s second language. We are confident Hyoji will do a great job. She has quickly picked up many of our American words and phrases so this script will be a piece of cake.
And the Answer is…
Yes we are working hard, but when you are having this much fun, it hardly feels like work.
