Hello! My name is Caroline Harwell and like Meg Rolfsen, I am also working at Double R Productions for the next three weeks. Our time here at Double R seems to be flying by! Even after the first week, I felt as if I had learned multiple skills and techniques to help me create a public service announcement. Last Friday, Meg and I recorded individual elevator speeches in which we introduced ourselves and described our passions. We shot the speeches behind a black backdrop using microphones and the JVC camera. This week, Meg and I completed another project for Martin Luther King Day. On Tuesday, Inhye, Quinton, Meg, and I set off to the National Mall to shoot footage of the different memorials and monuments for the MLK tribute video. We spent the rest of the week using Avid to edit and polish our video for the team to review.
The interns are not the only ones who had a busy schedule this week! On Tuesday, Rosemary and Paul headed to Palm Springs with Aquarian LLC to host a media training for the American Trucking Associations (ATA). We were excited to hear their thoughts on the training as they arrived back to the office on Thursday morning.
We are so excited for the time we have left at Double R. We anticipate a busy but educational last week full of new projects and activities!
