The leaves are turning, the weather is cooling and time is running out. Fall has come and will soon be gone, taking the Double R Intern team along with it. Thanksgiving has arrived and with it a thought—what are we thankful for?
I am thankful for receiving the opportunity to come and learn in DC. I am also thankful for all the knowledge Double R has given me over the past few months. The experience I have acquired throughout my life has led me here. I have no doubt this semester has significantly impacted my future. Happy Thanksgiving and go Bears!

As a recent college graduate from New Jersey, I could not be more thankful for the opportunity I have been given to work in the nation’s Capital at Double R Productions. With the country’s lack of employment still on the rise, my internship experience at Double R has been a blessing. Learning the ins-and-outs of video production and gaining hands-on experience at a company that really cares about its employees and interns is something I am truly grateful for this year. I cannot thank Double R enough for giving me the chance to grow personally and professionally.

I have to say that I am thankful for the opportunity to go home for the break to see my family and friends. Although I love my Double R family, my experience in DC has taught me that there are a lot of differences between the pace of life in the Midwest and life in the nation’s Capital. I’m looking forward to eating a homemade Thanksgiving feast, driving a car, and even seeing cornfields—who knew you could miss those? It will be a nice break to relax and fuel up for the upcoming busy last few weeks in Double R-Land.
