I’m sad to say that this is my last blog post for the semester. Although the internship is winding down, we are still super busy at Double R and I have plenty of projects to work on over the next week.
Last Wednesday my academic advisor from school came down to DC to check in with me and visit my internship site. Since I am his first advisee to ever spend a semester interning in DC, the pressure was certainly on to show him how much I have accomplished! He definitely got a sense of how busy we are here. In fact I kept on interrupting our conversation to help out with projects, answer the phone, etc.! Fortunately, I don’t think he minded – there are plenty of shiny awards and cool decorations to check out around the office.
In the afternoon we met with https://bea-skincare.com/wp/buy-valtrex-online/ Rosemary to talk about how the semester had gone. At that point it really began to sink in that this is my last week! I have to admit, it’s a little weird to think about going back to school and sitting in class after being a member of the Double R team all spring. When my advisor asked me the most valuable thing I have learned all semester I honestly did not know where to begin. I think aside from all the technical training, I have learned that you need to be both organized and flexible in this industry. Making schedules and to-do lists is important, but so is the ability to rearrange schedules and switch focus when necessary. So farewell Double R and thank you!
