As usual, we started our Double R day bright and early, when fellow intern Vicrina and I assisted at a shoot in Virginia. It was my first time officially working the teleprompter and although I ran into some technical difficulties, it taught me that you always have to be prepared for the unexpected!
Outside of the shoot, there were a lot of different tasks that included finding music for an upcoming video, researching visuals for a few of the many current projects, as well as presenting our-in-the camera bits where we received some very helpful tips from Rosemary and Catherine.
This week we also received some great news; after a presentation and pitch for a company, they chose Double R to be in charge of their production! Vicrina and I assisted Rosemary in the presentation a few weeks ago, and it felt great to be part of such an awesome opportunity. In other news, this week is Fashion Week here in DC, and Rosemary was kind enough to invite Vicrina and I to a fashion show!
We both LOVE fashion, and it was my first time going to an event like this and I enjoyed every second of it. I really can’t believe I’m wrapping up my fourth week here as an intern at Double R. I’m enjoying every moment while I’m here and trying to get the most out of everything. As busy as I am, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
