Although, here at Double R Productions, we, the intern team, have the chance to work on a lot of really cool & interesting projects but every now and then we get stuck with one that we dread, one that we can’t seem to get out of our heads, even if we tried. And so is the case with a recent project that will go unnamed, which we had to work on for one of Double R’s clients. For this reason, we, the Double R interns, would like to take a moment to reflect and vent concerning the challenges faced over the previous week.
At the beginning of our internship with Double R, each of us was assigned the task of keeping tabs on several different categories for this project, which seemed easy enough. We spent much of our time over the past week finding and organizing pictures & videos, cataloging hours of footage, and updating each of our lists to reflect any and all changes that we made, while taking in several cups of Joe daily, at least Lynnette and Andrew did. It was always, “No, that picture’s too small!” “That picture’s too big!” or “Did you get the footage?” Who knew looking up current events could be so time-consuming and tedious? It is very likely that only the former interns of Double R know this dreadful project that we speak of. However, just be grateful that you, the reader, will never have to know the horror that is… the “S Word.”
