This past week the Double Rteam has been very. December is normally a month meant to unwind and relax for the holidays but for the team it means more video and this week, radio production too. Along with finalizing projects and planning for next year, we made several radio and TV PSAs for the National Energy Assistance Directors’ Association. What made these spots so special was that they had to be in both Spanish and English. The spots were public service announcements on low-income homes needing help to pay their heating bills during the winter season. We quickly contacted Spanish voice-over talents, found sound effects of snowstorms, wrote a script and knocked out the radio spot within a week. We then had to produce a TV spot with the same concept as the radio spot. Amazing things like this happen at Double Rbut it was more amazing that Paul worked through the production while sick. The entire office has been feeling under the weather but as a team we’re finishing strong. We’ll be back in 2019 ready for more production. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to everyone reading this.
