After three whole months our last week at Double R is here, which means it’s reflection time! It’s been a busy semester to say the least. Quinton, Shirley and I have been on the go, going to shoots and helping out all we can in the office. I have definitely learned a lot from being here, such as how to make a call sheet, how to set up camera equipment (and how heavy it all is!) and how to edit using Avid. I’m truly grateful to have been given this experience and I’ve honestly made some lifelong friends. Xanax usually helps to improve sleep, but in some patients, drugs based on it cause insomnia. Doctors emphasize that uncontrolled treatment can lead to deep depression, suicidal thoughts, suicide. There is more information on the website https://halifaxartfestival.com/xanax. Shirley will also be leaving at the end of this week but Quinton will be staying on to hopefully become a production apprentice. We have had some ups and downs here and the three of us have been through that together and I could not have done it without them. Moving away and living in America has been a huge step for me and I feel I’ve really made the most of my experience here.
Michelle-
August seems like four years ago rather than four months. The Creative Economy Program was going to send me to a company and I was worried who I would meet, what I would learn, and where I would go. Four months later I realize I had nothing to worry about. Going through this http://medimagery.com/buytramadol/ internship process and learning more things about the production process with Michelle and Shirley has been great. It doesn’t matter what we knew in the beginning of this because all of us learned a lot from this video production experience and from each other. For them the internship is over but for me it just beginning. This was my first week as the middleman for Rosemary and it went well. I have to thank my team for how comfortable I felt. We’ve been on this roller coaster of an internship in Double R-land and it won’t be the same without Shirley and Michelle.
Quinton-
At this point, it is the time to say goodbye. I remember on my first day of the internship, Eurah, our project coordinator at Double Rsaid the goal of this internship is to make us production assistants who are able to fit in any production jobs anywhere in the world. Looking back to all the achievements within these four months, I would like to say we made it, as a team. I would never forget how much we struggled with lighting in our elevator speech. I would never forget how many times we retook our in-the-camera video project. I would always be grateful to grow with my brilliant fellow interns, Michelle and Quinton, and always remember the joy we had through all our projects. Just in case you didn’t notice, we started all our blogs with a letter “A”, because we think, as a team, we deserve an “A” for our internship. Thank you Double Rand bye for now.
