As Jose, Monica and I enter our last month as interns at Double R, we are encountering an interesting situation. Our Intern Supervisor, Megan, is leaving Double R to start a new chapter in her life. This means that we have a new face in the office! Catherine Baum was recently hired on as Megan’s replacement. The fun part about this for us, as interns, is that we get to teach her what we have learned! Megan was a great supervisor and taught us so much (and being a full service firm, there is A LOT to know) and now we get to contribute to the company by helping show Catherine how we do things around here. During our internship at Double R, we have written scripts, gone on shoots, edited final projects, written press releases, recorded voiceovers, designed postcards and have made our fair share of mistakes along the way. What is a better way to learn than through trial and error? So now we will be able to help Catherine avoid making the same mistakes we made along the way.
We look forward to getting to know Catherine and help her get settled at the Double R office. We are also going to miss Megan terribly. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors and thank her for all that she has done for us!
