It’s hard to believe my time at Double R is coming to an end. In two days, I will be packing my bags and saying goodbye to the city I have called home for the past three months. Even more difficult will be saying goodbye to the Double R team that has become my DC family. When I accepted an offer from Rosemary to join the intern team in late July, I knew I would have a great experience during my fall semester. My expectations, however, have been eclipsed by my actual experiences. I have been blessed to work at a company that has truly valued the skills I bring to the table and I have felt like a true Double R employee—not just another intern. Rosemary has been a fantastic supervisor and has given me advice I know will be useful throughout the rest of my college career and during my future job experiences. I cannot thank her enough for the wonderful opportunity she has given me. I have worked hard this semester, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have learned about the importance of prior proper planning and how to work under pressure; both skills that will be essential in any job I take in the future. I could not have asked for better co-workers or a better internship in our nation’s Capital and I walk away more knowledgeable and prepared for the working world after college.

As snow falls outside our intern room window I find it hard to believe that I arrived here in shorts and a t-shirt. Where did the semester go? It has truly https://clippingpathstudio.com/seroquel-online/ been full of excitement and tons of new experiences. I have learned so much in such a short amount of time. Looking back on the shoots, the long days of editing, and memorably lunches with co-workers, I will miss my time here in Washington, DC. With only one semester left of college I am eager to get back and finish my degree. I hope after receiving my diploma I will be able to return to Washington and find work as an editor, videographer, or any position enabling me to continue to work in video production. I thank those who have taught me along the way. Without this internship at Double R I would still be unsure and confused about my future. Thanks to Double R I am heading down the right path. I don’t like saying goodbyes, so I say “see ya’ later!”

Three months with Double R Productions in Washington, DC? Feels more like three days. Time really does fly when you are having fun. But working at Double R has been more than just a great time. I have learned so much here about the professional world and myself that I really do not want to leave. I cannot thank Rosemary and the rest of the Double R team enough for taking my fellow interns and I under their wing. The support and trust they have given us is more than I ever expected. I will be keeping in touch for sure. But for now it is back to New Jersey. Happy holidays, Double R. Thank you for everything.
