Working on a Sunday! Am I working in Korea? No, I’m working in the United States of America!
“Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri-Fri-Fri.” This saying comes from South Korea, because a lot of Korean companies make employees work hard, even on the weekend. Last Sunday, I felt like I was working at a Korean company instead of Double R Productions.
On March 1st, Double R interns went to Alexandria, Virginia to shoot the “Allison Silberberg’s kick off campaign for mayor. We set up all of the camera equipment and shot the video without any assistance. During the first week of our internship, we did not know anything about how to prepare the camera equipment, but last week, we did so all by ourselves. We’ve learned a lot of lessons in a very short time.
We also completed our first intern Vlog! Jessica wrote the script for our vlog which was inspired by the movie ‘The Matrix’. Every vlog will feature the choosing of an intern at Double R Productions, similar to the choosing of main characters in the movie. The first vlog featured Delvakio being chosen, as Neo was in The Matrix. The second vlog will feature Jessica being chosen like Agent J from Men in Black. Producing our vlog is not an easy job, but Double R made us grow.
Now we are ready to jump in to another challenge!
