I was expecting several exciting challenges when I was selected as a Double R Productions intern but I was not anticipating my first hurdle to be the morning coffee! Here at the Double R office we have this spiffy coffee maker that supposedly makes the worlds best coffee. To my surprise I can’t seem to produce a pot that is up to par. I know what most of you are thinking, “It’s coffee how hard can it be”? Well let me tell ya when you have a bunch of people that require eight, yes I said eight heaping spoons of coffee it’s not that easy. All I hear is, “This coffee is too weak” or “This coffee is too strong.” Geez! This staff reminds of me of Goldilocks, or should I say “Coffeelocks.” I am battling with this coffee making every morning to get it right! With three failed attempts under my belt, Megan, our intern coordinator and major coffee addict, finally complimented me on making a decent cup of Joe! Success! So if you’re a fellow intern having a similar challenge, don’t give up! That perfect pot of coffee is just a day away.
