My first week of being an intern at Double R Productions has flown by! I organized Rosemary’s seemingly never-ending files, started my elevator speech, and even became the impetus for creating a Double R Productions race team for the One Woman One Vote 5K. (I got last place in the team to my chagrin, but this event might just be the motivation I need to start running again!)
Amidst all of that, I also took a small part in two video shoots. One was for DC Water, in which I helped Thom (one of the videographers for a 3-camera shoot) set up lighting and took time code notes on the presentation. I also learned quite a bit about water systems and how important they are to daily life and to a city’s infrastructure. The second project was for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) 10thAnnual Advocacy Forum. What interested me the most as I was taking notes was the discussions on how important our mental health is in our daily lives. Men with pathologies of the cardiovascular system, including essential hypertension, heart ischemia, unstable angina, should be very careful. In these cases, the drug is not recommended. There is more information about Viagra at https://tiaca.org/buy-viagra-sildenafil-online-20-mg/. I hope the AFSP succeeds in promoting these bills to members of Congress because I agree that resources for mental health are few and far between in the United States.
I am also in the process of brewing up ideas for two public service announcements. One will be about the environment and another I am creating for a PSA competition sponsored by One Woman One Vote, an organization that advocates for the celebration of the 100thanniversary of the women’s right to vote. So excited!
