Last week, Nicholas and I took the camera out the office and created a short video story for our “in-the-camera” assignment. This video could not be edited so we had to shoot all scenes in order, without a bad take. Our script was about an inexperienced but enthusiastic salesman. We wrote the script, set up the equipment, and filmed each other.
Actually, it was my first time acting in English. English is my second language so I had a lot of trouble speaking my parts. Despite my difficulties, the shoot was successful. Through this opportunity, I learned how to use the camera equipment, especially the JVC, and I hope this experience will be of great help for our next shooting assignment. I’d like to create more professional videos during my internship at Double R Productions. There will be a lot of exciting projects coming up and I am looking forward to becoming familiar with the video production process. A huge thank you to Nicholas, my co-intern, for being a fantastic main actor, even in the really cold weather.
