Regards and Condolences
This week, Double R Productions worked with only two interns. The third member of the trio returned home for a private matter. He will be back next week.
It Takes Two
So this week, Hyoji and I pulled together to complete various Double R projects. We finished the revisions for Allison Silberberg’s, the vice mayor who is running for mayor of Alexandria, Virginia, campaign video. Maxine, Hyoji and I enjoyed working face-to-face with Allison while editing the pro bono video. Hyoji and I got a better understanding of Allison’s vision, which is to convey, “that we are the temporary stewards of this national treasure called Alexandria.”
Hyoji and I also completed our first cut of the Central Union Mission pro bono video. I felt excited yet nervous to narrate the beginning and the end of the video. I aspire to be a voiceover artist, so the opportunity to record my voice was incredible. This project is my first time doing a voiceover in a Whisperroom. The room channels my voice and helps create the best quality sound. After Rosemary approves the video, Hyoji and I will send the final product over to our client, Minister Deborah Chambers, Director of Strategic Partnerships & Community Engagement for Central Union Mission.
I feel at ease knowing Hyoji and I accomplished a great deal of work this week, even though the Double R intern team was down by one.
