It’s a final assignment for me at Double R Productions. The eight months literally flew by.
Since November 2018, I have been interning as a production assistant. First of all, I want to thank all of our team. They have taught me a lot of video production skills and helped me with my inexperience. My internship ends in July, and time has gone quickly, but I’ve experienced a lot in a short time – not only in the workplace but also in my daily life. I feel very lucky to have this opportunity to work with the Double R team. This experience has given me a more comprehensive understanding of business and this country. I want to express my gratitude for all that my co-workers have done for me and their encouragement and help.
Before I came here, I was dreaming of becoming a journalist. However, after living abroad and interning in the production company, I realized that the media business is bigger and more diverse than I knew. When I go back to Korea, I will experience and study media more professionally. I think this process will really help me in my career. I am supposed to work in broadcasting as an intern in Korea and take classes, which are about new and international media.
Overall, my experience in America/Double R was life changing. I’d like to say, “see you later” instead of “bye.”
