Well, it time for us to say goodbye. Has it been 15 weeks already? Does time really fly that fast? Apparently, yes.
I still remember my first day in the office. I remember my first shoot. I remember when we finished our first video. I remember when I brought my monkey and my otter to decorate my desk. I remember staying late to edit. I remember getting up early to shoot. But, above all, I remember enjoying every second of my internship here at Double R Productions: The best brand in the business.
I will surely miss this place, but now I think I’m ready to face the challenges that will come next. Whatever it is.
Finally, I would like to thank everybody here at Double Rfor everything they did for me. I will miss you all.
Adios.
Jose Galvez.

About 4 months, 15 weeks, 100 days, 2.400 hours, 144.000 minutes, 8.640.000 seconds have gone by since I arrived in Washington D.C. to do an internship at Double R Productions. And I can confirm that this is the best brand in the business. Since day one I have gained experience and learned from every single person I have worked with and every shoot I have assisted and worked on during the semester. I therefore want to thank every Double R staff member and all of the people I have worked with, but I would like to thank Rosemary in particular for giving me the opportunity to work at her great production company. You will all be missed, certainly not forgotten and believe me when I say: “I will be back.”

It’s been a long but forever-changing fifteen weeks. I recall my phone interview with Rosemary and how she took interest in my passion for reporting, which pretty much sealed the deal for me. Though editing footage wasn’t necessarily my favorite thing, I leave here knowing I need to craft more in PR. Being a part of this staff is something I’ll never forget; each person had that special something and was willing to help. Double R has definitely helped me grow in more ways than one. My career path in PR was born by giving me the opportunity to work on my very first marketing project! I am forever grateful not only for this amazing experience, but leaving here knowing this was more than just a job. It was a family-oriented home.
