Ok people, its Andrew talking. We’ve decided to change things up a bit and will be writing individual blogs rotating every week. This will give all of you our own personal perspectives of the invigorating life of an intern. Just as a forewarning, it may not be what you expect. To start, I would like to inform the readers of the battle of epic proportions I face every morning to even get to my desk. Having lived in a suburban area for 20 years it has always been easy for me to get up and go anywhere, at any time. The Metro here in D.C is a man among children, it’s kill or be killed. During rush hour you literally need to put on your armor and prepare for battle, if you don’t you will be trampled and left behind. My final words? Be aggressive, do whatever it takes to squeeze on before getting assaulted by the automatic doors.Enough about my disdain for the metro, I suggest you look forward to the lovely Lynnette as she shares with you her thoughts about her impeccable experience thus far at Double R.
