The past 12 weeks flew by. I can still remember my first day at Double R, I was nervous for the semester to come. I learned so much, from how to make a call sheet, to editing on Avid. I also learned SO many lessons, like the importance of testing audio, white balancing, and properly framing each shot before shooting
I learned from those around me. Paul and Michael gave tips on editing, Rodger taught me basic graphic design and offered advice on thriving at Double R. Catherine answered every question and offered so many ideas for shoots. Flannery and Lauren gave me advice on how to survive the rest of my college career, and of course I learned so much from Rosemary. She provided me opportunity after opportunity to learn, network, and better myself for the future.
From meeting Bernie Sanders to capturing the Pope on camera, interning in DC exposed me to many once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. I am so happy with my decision to intern at Double R. This experience helped me grow not only as a professional, but also as an individual. Double Rhelped me prepare for my future and I am excited for what is to come.
