The Final Sumbission

                                                               Wrapping Up
My whole journey in DC has been incredible and adventurous; but a roller coaster ride. There were some Up’s and Down’s both personally and during programming sessions, yet it’s been worthwhile. I will encourage anyone to at least visit DC to experience the “Fast Paced” life; due to the fact that you really develop this new energy to be excited for work most of the time- even on Monday mornings. But most importantly, my internship here at Double R Productions has contributed a lot to this experience and I’m very glad for that! As an intern I have learned so much in the field of production; writing scripts, making call-sheets, designing postcards, etiquette in being a production assistant, shooting videos and editing. These new skills I acquired will enhance my career well-being in the future. In addition, I’m very grateful to have worked with some awesome staff members at Double R.

Changes are chances
Coming to a different country, speaking a different language, living and working with new and amazing people. For me, those were just some of the challenges I initially faced in week one.
Today, I look back and see myself in that first week, and I realize how far I have come. Even though it hasn’t been easy, Double R   took me out of my comfort zone and gave me the chance to prove myself in so many different ways, for which I am very thankful.
People ask me what makes Double R so special, and since there are many observations to be made about Double R, it is difficult to give just one answer. But If I must choose one, it would be that this company has a unique and professional working environment, and every staff member provides his or her own vision and creative personality to every project.
I thank everyone for welcoming my intern colleagues and I to this  great, fun and challenging experience, I take a little piece of all of you with me.
Finally, for future interns, enjoy and learn as much as you can, and trust them when they say you are going to be very busy. Because you will.  But I promise the experience is worth it!

See You Later Double R
Yesterday, I felt overwhelmed with a huge binder on my first day at Double R. It outlines this semester’s projects and helps guide us through our internship. But yesterday is actually three months ago and today is already my last day at Double R.
I am not good with goodbyes—so no worries, I won’t end with a sappy blog. But I must admit how grateful I am for this Double R experience. As I look at my binder, ready to take it home, I see how much I have grown—both professionally and personally. With every new project, my skills and confidence grew.
I am now ready to tackle the world of video production with better skills and more self-confidence. So, thank you to the amazing staff that made this amazing experience possible.  I will miss every single one of them and I will take everything I learned from them everywhere I go.

Thank you Double R. I will see you later when I visit D.C.!
