I cannot believe this is my last day here at Double R. It seems like it was just August and I was moving into my apartment in DC, incredibly unsure of everything around me. Since then I have become so used to living and working in DC that it feels like home. I am extremely grateful for these past months, and I have met so many amazing and inspiring people here. Interning at Double R has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, and although I am sad to leave the city and all of the people I have met, I know that this is just the end of one chapter and it’s time to move on to the next one.
I learned things here that I would have never been able to back at school, but I feel confident now that I will succeed and thrive after college because of this experience. I was so nervous to leave my college town and all of my friends back at home, but now I feel very blessed to have had this experience and I have overcome many challenges that I never thought I could. One of the most important things I have learned here is to always have faith in yourself, and although you may not succeed the first time, you must never give up. I am excited about my future and no matter where I end up I will take everything I have learned here at Double R with me. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
